Why do so many people on here have higher FAR than AUD scores?

I couldn’t stand wondering anymore so I just have to ask I know it’s been discussed somewhat on other threads, but I feel like so many people in this community struggle with AUD and I just don’t get it.

Compared to FAR, it’s just so much less information to memorize. I understand there are differences — FAR is a little more technical and AUD probably a little more observational, people use different study programs, have different strengths, etc.

But I just am mind-blown by the number of people on here who have FAR scores in the 80s but are shell-shocked by AUD. Please if you are in that boat, explain to me why you find AUD to be even near the difficulty of FAR or even REG.

I don't think people are shell shocked by AUD, I do think in general people spend less time studying for AUD and don't give it nearly as much attention as FAR.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I honestly thought that FAR was going to be horrible for me. Yes, I did fail once, and yes it is a lot of information, but it is certainly doable. On the other hand, AUD has shocked me. I have alway hated auditing and I don't work in auditing at all and there is absolutely no math involved. I find some of the questions to be so subjective and if you don't read the questions correctly, you will most definitely answer it wrong. I just think that everyone is different and everyone has different strength and weaknesses.
