Over the last few days, my posts haven’t been showing up in the FAR group. I can see them when I’m logged in but if I log out of my account, my posts aren’t showing up. Any idea why this could be? I’ve tried different browsers and restarted my computer too.

@CPAMommy how weird…hopefully Jeff will fix it! I wonder why it's just specific threads that people are being locked out of.

@Kenada- Well, I got through governmental and then started NFP but was making stupid mistakes so I decided to take a break. It might be better just to start fresh with it in the morning- we'll see 🙂 How's your studying? Hey, I wonder if @jrosen was locked out too…I haven't seen him post in a few days either.

I will be going Govt tomorrow Ekkk. Today I am doing batches from Financial reporting, financial statements,disclosures, cash, AR, Inventory, PPE and Deferred tax.

So far the first topics I really suck at ! I mis read all the wordy questions 🙁

You know now come to think of it he might be locked too and thats why hasn't posted. I sort of assumed he must be studying and totally focused on it.

I haven't seen NJRU post today either.

@ CPAmommy- I am sure this time you won't be locked out as long as you don't post any links on the thread they will work fine:) Fingers crossed !

I've emailed him a couple of times about my comments not showing up and he doesn't know why it's doing that. He doesn't know how to fix it aside from manually approving my posts when I let him know I posted something that didn't show up. Just start a new thread. I think the Q2 FAR thread is rejecting everything from the common posters because we posted too much too fast. We study so hard, we broke the thread. 🙂

I'm sorry about this…clearly you haven't been banned 🙂

I do monitor the site here and there on the weekends, but for the most part, my six tax exemptions (seven if you count Mrs. NINJA) keep me fairly busy.

I don't know why the forum is blocking you from that one thread. I suspect it's due to posting a lot of links, but maybe not.

I have so far been unable to convince the software that you're not trying to take down the site via that one thread 🙂

The site security, while annoying in this instance, also allows the site to exist.

This forum is the target of a lot of DOS attacks and various other shenanigans because they (the bad guys) want to take over the site and link spam from it because it carries solid link authority. The security helps prevent the bad guys from winning.

The downside is that sometimes, non-bad guys get blocked from certain threads if they post a lot of links or write in all caps, or even think negative thoughts. 🙂

I would consider starting another screen name if it's problematic…that's the easiest solution probably.
