    Hi everyone,
I passed FAR with a 77 and my friend passed it with a 87. My friend kept asking my why I studied a lot (more than 200 hours) and got low score (77). How should I answer that question ? She told me that 77 means I almost failed and didn’t study efficiently.

Your “friend” isnt a friend and is a terrible person for even putting you down. Some people work their butt off for a 75 or a 77.

It's bizarre to me when people say “you didn't study efficiently,” or “you over studied.”

I'm assuming we all want to have great accounting careers, that's why we are taking these CPA exams.

How could time dedicated to learning your profession be a waste?

Even with the topics you think you won't use, you never know where your career will take you and it's always helpful to have that background to at least be able to have a conversation with other accountants that do work with those topics.
