Just wondering how many people were able to schedule or reschedule during this window extension through 6/9. I saw on Saturday that a few prometric locations near me in Chicagoland had June openings but they all appear to be fully booked for all sections as of yesterday. I called a local prometric center yesterday to verify the window extension and they knew nothing about it but indicated it was possible they just hadn’t been notified yet and suggested I call the candidate care line. That was useless and a waste of time as it is an automated system which didn’t provide any information on the matter.

I need to schedule a date still, not reschedule so I’m wondering who has successfully scheduled/rescheduled in this extension period. I have always scheduled my exams within the last week of the window, sometimes during the last 2 or 3 days without a problem. If anybody hasn’t ever monitored the prometric availability during the last half of the month, seats open and close randomly numerous times throughout the day, everyday, leading up to the end of the window. I haven’t seen any of this yet so I’m getting a bit worried.

    Thanks!

    From KY here.

On 5/29, a day before my REG test scheduled on 5/30 (i.e., over 24 hours before the exact schedule), I browsed on Prometric page hoping to reschedule. After several attempts for two days, at around 10am last Friday, Prometric screen showed several openings up from 6/1 to 6/9. I was shaking when I saw it. I felt so relieved to avail this extension.

I am not surprised if neither Prometric nor State Board is aware of this grace of extension period.

(Could this be a divine intervention? Just kidding:)

@Armor D. Glad to hear that worked out for you. Good luck with REG on the 9th! The last time this happened due to weather was in 2012 when hurricane Sandy hit. Jeff sent out an email about that extension but I'm not aware of him saying anything about this. It feels like this extension is kind of hush hush which seems odd to me.
