Which is easier to get into at a B4 – Tax or Auditing?

    I am applying for a full time position in either Tax or Auditing (NOT an internship). I am a senior in college, had an internship in tax over busy season and an accounting internship in the summer. I definitely should be able to get an interview with EY so I really want to have the best chance at landing a position after college. Is audit or tax more competitive and harder to get into?

    I have heard from some people that Tax is easier, and others that audit is easier. Is there a steep difference in competition for both fields?
