Greetings. I need some advice. First, a little history on me:
I graduated with an Accounting degree in 2000 with the intent of sitting (and hopefully passing) the CPA exam. I never got to it. I haven’t been lazy though. I’ve had a handful of accounting and finance jobs, went to B school, served in the military (Reserves), and got through the CFA program. For personal and professional reasons, I now have a massive amount of motivation to get through the CPA and finish what I started. Sifting through some of the forums and seeing how much has changed in accounting since I studied, I’m not sure where to start. My goal is to take the exam by late summer of next year.
My questions:
1) Should I go ahead and dive in with a full study course?
2) If “yes” to #1, which study course is best for lecture material or for someone that’s been out of it for a while (like me)?
3) If “no” to #1, what would you suggest I do?
Thanks!!!!
