We’re all studying hard so that we can get our lives back… part of what motivates me is thinking of all the things I look forward to doing once I actually have free time.

When I pass I’m gonna…

– Build a desktop computer! I’m good with computers but I never really learned the hardware side too well, so I want to get better with that. Plus, I want to get into PC gaming.

– Learn more about investing! I want to start early so I can do lots of traveling when I’m older.

– Learn about religions! I found this cool chart that shows a whole bunch of world religions throughout history and how they evolved and influenced others to become what they are today. My goal is to gain a reasonable understanding of the history, origin, and beliefs of every religion on that chart.

– Learn ASL! I actually don’t know anyone personally who communicates via sign language, but I feel like it would be a fun/cool/interesting/useful skill to learn.

– Read more! I read sooooo many books as a kid/teenager, but didn’t read as much once I was in college since I was working at the same time.

And of course, spend more time with family/friends and especially my SO for putting up with me while I study.

What are you all planning to do with yourselves after you’ve passed?

Hang out with my kids without the exam looming over my head. Workout more frequently, or just whenever I want without thinking that I should be studying instead. Keep my house tidy all the time, meal prep, go to church. There are so many simple things I'm looking forward to having back.Thanks for the reminder, Busker, of why I need to pass this thing next month. 🙂

That's funny Busker, I too am going to get into investing hardcore and build a computer. I built a computer about 12 years ago in High School and surprisingly, it's hasn't changed. Same type of hardware and what not. Your biggest challenge will be figuring out which hardware talks well with other hardware. But, the internet these days is much better in assisting you than it was back then. You want a sick gaming computer, liquid cool it (makes overclocking easier) and don't go cheap on the GPU.
