My vote goes for the wait since I’m pretty much in control of the studying and exam. Thoughts?

I would say the studying. I moved right before I started the CPA. On the one hand its been really great because all my friends are back home. I do not have the distractions I would have had. But on the other hand because I spend so much time studying I don't feel like I have made many connections. It is a little lonely just working and studying. But I will hopefully change all that soon. I just need good news tomorrow and a final push to get over the hump January 2 and then I can get out more and have some fun.

I think the wait is hardest. You don't know whether you need to jump back into studying the same material or if you can move on the next section. Plus I find it really hard to get back into the studying groove after taking 2 weeks off of studying.

The wait is harder. These last 9 days haven't been necessarily nerve wracking, but I've definitely had trouble keeping occupied when I'm not at work and that may continue for the next few weeks until I settle back into my old routines.

Studying is a grind, but at least I kept myself so busy getting ready for the next section that I never had time to evaluate every possible outcome the way I have on what should be my last section.

i completely agree with Jenny's order of difficulty (hardest on the left):
    Studying>Wait>Exam

i also have stress that lasts for days after the exam until i work out crazy (2+ hours of non-stop exercise to tire me out completely -> good sleep -> eventual recovery)

The wait is the worst for me. I'm pregnant, so it's easy to choose to study when I don't really want to go out anyway. I am just dying to know if I'm staying on schedule. If I fail an exam, then I could be pushed into studying with a newborn (plus my two existing children). That would be a disaster.

    BEC - 79 10/2/15
    AUD - 87 11/20/15

Studying is hard than waiting is harder than the actual exam.

Busting my tail all day every day working and studying with no life :/ ouch. Waiting for the results right now is torture. We are more than 24 hours away and I'm already hitting refresh just waiting for the stupid countdown clock, how stupid is that.

Oddly enough, I've found all of the exams themselves to be “easy” in a way. Obviously they are tough, and I walk out feeling like I've failed, but I just chug away answering questions and it's over before I know it.

Weekends are meaningless to a CPA candidate

Studying because of the duration. Yes we wait for scores but in the meantime there are a lot of distractors like work and other obligations. Studying with distractors doesn't work.

I agree with you Test.Taker. The studying is the worst, although, I do dislike the wait, especially when I know I have failed, and it is my last part, and I only have one more chance to pass it before FAR drops. Ugh.
