So I have failed both AUD and BEC and have not tried retaking them since. I’ve since moved on to FAR at the end of November. My dilemma is that I work in public accounting and busy season is about to gear up after the holiday season and I will not have time to finish all 10 chapters in FAR with my schedule being so hectic. Should I go ahead and put FAR on pause although im just on chapter 2, and go back to studying either AUD or BEC and try to pass those since they are smaller chapters and I can most likely accomplish those during busy season or keep chugging along with FAR?

If at this early stage in studying FAR you don't feel you'll be able to get through all the material, maybe you shouldn't even make an attempt on it until you're able to make time to study properly for it.

If your FAR NTS is about to expire, disregard the previous sentence, study the best you can and throw up a prayer because the money is already spent.

Based on your AUD score, you'll probably need to make a completely clean start on studying for it as well.

How close to passing BEC were you?

@womanbataholic Thank you for chiming in. I have not even set the date or have paid for an NTS on FAR yet. So no it wouldn't be a problem in that respect. BEC was another bust I scored a 48 on it because I cherry picked studying on that. It's funny because the areas I studied the least, NASBA says I was stronger on and the areas I studied the most, I ended up being weaker on. I think I might benefit more during busy season if I studied AUD again so that way I can be ahead of the game on actual audit stuff
