Hi Everyone

I recently passed the cpa exam and i am from NY. I recently email my former employer where i work at for four years to sign off on the work experiences and there was no response. I call the state board and they say that the former employer have the option to sign off which i was shock to hear. I am not in public accounting anymore. Have anyone in the state of NY had these problem before and got it resolved. Tell me what to do!!1 I am at a lost for words. Thank You Guys.

I would try to contact the old employer by phone via friends that work there, old supervisors, etc. If that doesn't work, then I would go and see them eye to eye.
