Has anyone gone to an on campus interview and made it to the second round and did not get an offer and go back to the campus interview the next year and interview with the same company again and got the job? Was any body successful or is it just one and done for most of us? Do the recruiter keep a list of student that was reject? advice would be great!!

I did campus interview with a regional firm (top 15 according to Vault for reference) a year ago and got nowhere. Not even a 2nd round. A year later, with zero contact with anyone from that firm, got a campus interview, 2nd round, offer, and ultimately accepted. I'm getting my masters from asu this year which certainly helps (though my bachelors is from asu as well), but my best advice is not to lose enthusiasm, keep at it and keep improving.

if they do take another look at you later, they'll want to see that you've kept busy and have improved since last time. I don't know for sure, but I'm certain they keep some type of profile on ppl they interview. Definitely keep in touch with their recruiter and any staff you met, make sure next time they see your name, they can put a face and personality to it, it'll make you stand out that much more. Good luck!

Be persistent, keep asking, keep your name out front, keep visiting the campus recruiting or its online site. The goal is to keep your name on their mind in case someone inquires, sort of like a temp agency. Keep calling, keep showing up, keep attending functions. Keep those resumes circulating…….
