Wow, can't believe the weddings rings thing… that's ridiculous. What's the point of banning rings anyway? How can anyway possibly cheat?? Inscribing formulas inside the ring?? Crazy.

Yesterday at my exam, I got stuck in the elevator!! Seriously, one of my biggest fears.. especially because I was alone and without my cell phone. Thank god it was after my test!!

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate

I took audit a couple weeks ago. Got through the third testlet, left the exam room because I was soooo hot. At the time, I thought it was just too many computers overheating the room…that is until I vomited in the finger printing area. Was too ill/ upset/frustrated/embarrased to go back in and do the simulations. The biggest waste of money ever.

I haven't had any huge things happen on exam day, but I took REG last Saturday and for the last half hour, some guy was moving his foot on the bottom of his chair and it was squeaking really fast. I would look back at him and he'd stop by then. I dunno if he saw me do that or if it was just a nervous habit of his, but I was ready to knock him out.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

I got too stressed, didn't sleep much the night before. About 30 min into REG I was having trouble seeing clearly, which my eye doctor tells me is a migraine, it happens here and there. One of my hands went numb too. I got through the first section even though it was hard to read the questions and during my break ran around the building trying to find someone with advil. I popped in an advil and went on to my next section. It took a little time to take effect so the second section was rough as well. I sped through the last sections, but was unable to finish on time. I left the place in tears.

    @BSchakel

Yeap, I hear ya buddy. I get them nasty headaches like migraines or tension headaches every once in a while and of course on the test day 🙁

Try Excedrin migraine tabs, it might work for you. It had worked wonders for me for two sections. Took about 30 min before REG (started to feel a bit headachy on the way to testing center) and had great time. Did not even take second break as have planned, just sailed thru and double checked stuff.

I have bottle of it in my clear ziplock baggy along with water and Prometric people allow me to place it on top of the locker so no time is wasted if needed.

Looked at the “Duration of Appointment” instead of “Time of Appointment” on my Prometric Summary. Showed up on the last day of the testing window to take my last exam (FAR) at 4:30. They told me I was a no-show for my 12:00 appointment and there was nothing I could do. I had to schedule another exam for the third day of the next testing window and luckily passed that with a 76. The blackout month between the missed exam and actually taking it was a terrible, depressing month.

I live in Florida and the weather (this summer) has been RAIN. That's it. RAIN. And, in Florida, at least where I live, rain brings many things….especially (again, in my area) cottonmouth snakes. Anyway, another rainy night which causes my dog terrors (which means I get no sleep)…..I finally move from the bed to computer to study….Phone rings early….Prometric telling me “you can come in early, so…..” I start freaking out because I have to drive 2 hours to get there anyway, but tell the guy “I'll see ya in a while.” Shaky, no sleep, I fix a vat of coffee and head out…to the driveway….and cautiously looking for snakes, slip into my car to start the 2-hour journey to Prometric. It's about 100 degrees and my A/C goes out at mile 50. No air…rain…trying to hold papers (makeshift flashcards) while driving with warm wet wind blowing around….screw it. I passed that section! FAR: 83.

Forgot to mention…at least my Prometric location has a sweet dog that doesn't mind greeting you and licking your sweaty face when you show up. Bonus.

@BSchakel – Oh no!!! I am SO SCARED about getting a migraine during my exam. I get bad ones about twice a year and I basically go blind and medicine doesn't really make the pain any better. I don't even know what to do if that happened. I'd probably end up vomiting all over my computer… oops!
