bored. suffering through blaw and just spending time looking at subaru wrx’s. As an accountant I always search for the best VALUE and it seems to be a clear winner…..to a 23 year old.

    My “whip”

I currently drive a 2006 ford taurus SEL…..Leather, aftermarket deck, speakers, and subwooofffff. Just rolled over 111,111 miles. She has taught me a lot about car maintenance and has held up well, having an engineer do it yourself handy man as a father definitely helped too.

    My want

Looking at getting 2013 wrx end of next year as the phase out this body style. Hatchback, Dark silver grey with tinted windows.

Leased a new grand cherokee. Not sure I want to keep it after another 2 years. I'll probably shop extensively for a car worthy of buying.

I currently drive a yellow '98 Mustang (it was my 16th birthday gift and also my dream car-now don't get me wrong I still LOOOVE my car but it is getting old lol) Well it was my “reasonable” dream car-my actual dream car is a '70 Boss 302 Mustang orange with black stripes (saw one at the dragstrip when I was 15 and fell in love instantly)

What I would like to be driving in 5 years is a newer mustang (2012 or newer since it will be 2017 in 5 years).

However, what I will most likely be driving is a “mom” car (preferably an SUV) considering I will probably have kids in the next 5 years.

Now I have a 2001 Civic. It was my first car I bought myself when I was 18. I will never buy another salvaged car again. It leaks like crazy and is molding and rusting everywhere.

Right now I am at that point where I am ready to buy my first new car and make payments. Just waiting to a. pass this exam and b. until my wheels fall off my car now (probably will never happen, thank you Honda!) My dream is to have a 4runner and I was really considering it until I got sensible and realized how much gas is going to cost and that I never need a car that big right now.

If I bought right now I'd get a Subaru Impreza – which is probably what will happen when I bite the bullet.

If/when I have kids, I want that 4runner…and after or near retirement definitely an Audi.

@Da Bears – my bf drives an 08 WRX and it is his absolute baby (second to me of course!)

It is also the reason why I am going with a Subie – the ride is super smooth, it looks clean as hell and is totally practical and nice.

Filling up with premium is a buzzkill though, but damn she's quick too.

Yeah I just love the combination of looks/power/functionality. I've driven big v8's and full size cars so I wouldn't be in too much of a mpg shock, actually would probably be comparable if not better than what i currently have, albeit I don't have to fill up with premium but I've always been into cars but never been able to afford one. Hence the CPA journey haha

I drove a '99 Honda Civic until this past summer. I drove it for 10 years and basically grew up in that thing. It made me really sad to get rid of it. I now drive a 2009 Ford Escape. Hopefully, I'll still be driving it in 5 years. lol

I also drive a 99 civic, lets call him ‘the boss'. I laid down 3k for the boss in March, he had 97k miles on him. Has about 118k now. The boss has a salvage title, and I actually got rear ended in November. The bumper is half on now, so I park in the last row at the office so the boss doesnt strike fear in all the cadi's and tahoe's at work. Just found out the peep who struck the boss in Nov. had their insurance cancelled in July for non payment, sheet. I anticipate grinding out around 225k in boss mode, at which time i'll have to find a BJ (boss jr.). It will be difficult to find such a snake deal like I did, but will keep my eyes open when the time comes. Gotta keep that depreciation per mile low…

Been saving up + the CPA Exam bonus. Looking at my first purchase this summer.

I have contemplated a used Camaro Z28 or SS, Mustang GT, Charger R/T or possibly a C5 Corvette if the price is right. All I know is that it's going to be American and V8. It seems SF is a green city and they like their Prius etc. IDGAF, drill baby drill.

    Current: 2007 Honda Civic

Future: Toyota SUV, or Nissan Rogue, or Honda CR-V

Hoping it'll be 4-6 years before I get another vehicle but if my aunt's car doesn't make it another few years I'll bite the bullet and she can have mine and I'll get another vehicle. She'd do it in a heartbeat for me so…
