According to Becker, the weighting is only roughly 50% tax, but I was under impression that REG is mostly tax?

I had like 85% tax, maybe more. My friend had a ton on law though. I'd focus mostly on tax and do the problems at least 2x and get through all the law at least 1x. All your SIMS will likely be tax related.

Becker says 80% tax and ethics (chs 1-5 in Becker) and 20% law (ch 6-8). Know your tax!

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

Assuming tax is 60%-68% of the material and all the sims are Tax related, wouldn't that mean Ethics, BLaw, and Tax each make up 1/3 of the multiple choice questions?

    BEC: 86
    FAR: 77
    REG: 82
    AUD: 84
    Ethics: 96

When I took REG, it was probably at least 80% multiple choice in regards to tax and ethics, and all SIMS tax related. Not to say you shouldn't look at business law, because those can be somewhat easier due to no calculations, and can be easy points necessary to pass.

Yeah mine was roughly 80% tax I would think. BULA was only on the MCQs and high level. So definitely worth knowing, but not nearly as key as tax.
