Because we all spend our time working, spending time with the spouse, and studying, what hobbies do you want to restart when you are done?

I am looking forward to being less stressed around my wife, learning another language, binge watching, ultimate Frisbee, etc

    REG: 65, 77*

This past Sunday my wife and I just drove around town because we could. No obligations on a Sunday anymore is one of the best feelings

    AUD - July 2014 - 76
    REG - August 2014 - 82
    FAR - November 2014 - 78

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you're hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

    Exercise!

Exercise, reading (anything but CPA exam material), keeping up with household stuff (cleaning, organizing). I've been done since January and known for a month and honestly it doesn't feel like I have as much time as I had hoped. I've been busy with work and I still haven't finished my Ethics exam… I did spend 2 weeks in full on job hunt mode (maybe that is what has thrown me off). Oh, and I volunteered to do a bunch of stuff for my 3 year old's school. I planned a fundraiser and now I'm the silent auction coordinator for the next fundraiser. LOVELY. Oh and there was last week, where I had an awful cold, but pushed through and went to work, attended myfundraiser and just went to sleep early every night.

I am taking my 2 boys (3 and 7) to LEGOLAND, San Diego Zoo and the Safari Park for spring break. Taking the whole week off… I am so looking forward to that. Then the next week I'm taking a girls trip, just my mom and me to Puerto Vallarta! Looking forward to that too. That one SHOULD be truly relaxing. We are going for 5 days over a weekend.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

Exercise has to be the #1 on everyone's list.

#2 on my list is buying an old 1950's Chevy truck to restore with my son. I already have the truck style picked out and have saved $1,500 so far to buy. This will be a restoration and not some hot rod. However, I will be putting a 350 under the hood, but everything else is going to be original.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!

Getting back into shape, hiking outdoors (since most days are spent studying/working inside), spending time with my husband and parents, organizing my closet and spending more time decorating the house.

Woodworking. Working on the house. Organizing. Read some of the books I have bought. Bike riding. Golfing. Working out.

I do want to get back in school for a MST or MBA a year or so after.

I managed to keep up with my workouts while studying, but post-CPA-exam I have added West Coast Swing Dancing to the repertoire. I'm hooked!

Once tax season is over I plan on reading at least a few books since I haven't read anything other than CPA exam material since last February. And then I'm going to look more into PFS and/or CFP certification because I'm a masochist, apparently.

I actually started consuming more alcohol while studying for the exam. 😉 That is the one thing that helped me make it through this hell. Why did you ever stop?

I don’t know… I might have to reconsider it… maybe if I was drinking while studying for FAR I wouldn’t fail it by 4 points 🙁

going to europe for 6 weeks. just bought a professional camera too. i thank everyone at A71 because i asked about the travel and everyone said it was a great idea considering i'm still so young and if there's any better time, it's now. Wow is it risk, and as an accountant with such a risk averse career i am never as HELL. I go in 5 weeks then i relocate to a new city.

i kept up with working out for the exam, controlled my stress and jitters. now i'm trying to better myself professionally and socially.
