    I’m baaaaaaaaack!

Just a quick question to all you CPA’s/future CPA’s. I work in private and am not able to attend these weeks long training sessions that you public folks go to. So, I’m wondering what you corporate CPA’s (or even public for that matter) use to stay up to date on accounting changes/law changes. What newsletters/magazines/blogs/whatever you use to help you stay current do you subscribe to?

Agreed, the Journal of Accountancy is great for general accounting knowledge. If you're in audit, The Institute of Internal Auditors is a great resource and if you're in tax The Tax Advisor is good. They all have monthly magazines that are a part of their membership, but they may also have free email newsletters. I also like smart brief.com email accounting related newsletters a lot.
