Having the weekend to study beforehand is nice. πŸ™‚ I have Wednesdays off, so usually take my exams then (since I'd have to ask off for any other time), but if I didn't, I'd probably do Monday mornings!

@jes7879 – do you plan on taking any days off? I usually like Saturdays when I can take Thurs/Friday off. This time I planned for Monday so I can have the weekend to study, but my boss was kind enough to let me take Friday before off too. I took a whole week off in May to pass audit and well I didn't, so I was too embarrassed to take any more time off. Also, I would recommend a noon time exam, give yourself the morning to wake up fully and review a little. Just my two cents. Good luck!

I always took the last Saturday in the testing window. It minimized wait time for my score and didn't require me to waste any vacation days. I personally feel like vacation days are for vacation, not for studying. Your mental state / being relaxed is almost as big a part in this whole process as technical knowledge. Take your vacations!

I generally did Friday morning. I would work a shorter week to get a good block of review time, then take the exam Friday. I liked to relax over the weekend before going back to work and starting my next section Monday.

I took FAR on a Monday, I have 2 young kids and it was kind of a drag having to be away from them all weekend studying. I have my next exam scheduled for a Friday and I'm taking off a few days in advance so I can study full time and take the kids to daycare like normal and be with them for the weekend. Without kids I'd probably go for a Monday or Saturday and take off Friday, then have Sunday to unwind. I was really hyper? after I finished FAR… I just couldn't settle… I was up super late that night and had to go back to work the next day.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!

I took my last exam on Sat…it was nice although taking the exam so late at 6 pm was not that great because I woke up early to study and took a nap midday and woke up with my mind blank…I had to cram again right before the exam…next time I will take it on Sat at Noon or 1pm if it is offered.

I like to take it on a Friday or Saturday at the end of the week. I setup my work schedule so that I have an “easy” week and work only 6 hour days, leave early to get in the extra study time. Something about going to work each day keeps me motivated and on task versus taking an entire week off or taking it on a Monday morning.

I like taking exams on Tuesdays myself. I usually take off the Monday before and spend the weekend going hard core and using Monday as a wind down day from studying. I call the clock on MCQS midafternoon on Monday and will spend the rest of the day with notes or flashcards but nothing crazy. On Tuesday I like to test at noon or 1pm, so I just get up at my normal go to work time and drink coffee, eat light, read ninja, etc. and basically try to keep calm. I don't like testing at the end of the week because I stress out about it too much…it's like a doomsday countdown for me!
