So I thought I would add a light post so we can think about all the good things that will come to us once we pass the cpa exam… It’s supposed to help you to think positively and envision yourself passing, so what do you see in your future?

Mine: Can’t wait to pass the cpa exam and stop carrying my computer, book, and a million highlighters everywhere I go!

    Much luck to everyone!

    Using Wiley and Becker.

I cant wait to come home after work and give my brain a rest for once. I'd like to stop thinking about the exam while at work and then think about work while studying!

I think about this every day.

First, a new car. The one I have now is the first “big girl” car I bought after high school in 2006. Though as a Honda, she runs strong, but has accumulated a lot of body damage over the years. I get a whole lot of shit for it, and have grown tired of the weak-ass AC.

Second, I will enjoy many of happy hours and Sunday Fundays. Ah, how I miss these.

Third, I will actually do all that sh*t I have looked at on Pinterest.

Fourth, get back into running. I turned into a half-marathoner in college and though I can still push myself for 3 or 4 miles, I miss those long satisfying runs. I also used to play competitive soccer but that has declined since studying, as I struggle to stay in shape to run around for 80 minutes 🙁

And of course, upon certification I will ask for a raise, and if I don't get that raise I'M GONE! Plan to do my 5 years due diligence in public accounting and move on. Public accounting is just not my thing…I don't mind so much now since I am young, money hungry, and don't have a family or other obligations, but one day a time will come when I will want to be free….

These are the things that keep me pushing….

    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45

I'm looking forward to having more time to cook and bake. I have really started pushing to eat more organic, whole foods and stop using anything that comes in a box or is processed but it takes time. I want more time to experiment in the kitchen and do art projects with my kids. Also garden, paint. And have a drink or two in the evenings and be able to enjoy it!

I'm looking forward to not have to explain to all my friends why I can't hang out with them the way I used to and like Hustlin said go to happy hours and Sunday Fundays! Just all those type of things that normal 20-somethings are enjoying. I can't wait to stop putting my life on hold and finally just get to live normally. I'm also looking forward to finally having the credentials that will make people think twice before judging a book by its cover.

IF I can pass REG end of August I'm looking forward to a month and a half of nothing before I start work. New city, new people – I'm excited.

In that time I'll work on my car, play vids, tennis league errday, laser tag and whatever else comes to mind because I won't have to study 🙂

The bonus would be nice too…

Scoup up all the groupie chicks that I have been promised will come along with the CPA.

    And

Take my family on two (count them) two vacations to recoup my lost vacations of previous years. 2011 ruined with a layoff and 2012 ruined by the CPA exam and other problems.

I was just kidding about the CPA groupies! 😀

    @Terminator

What games did you have in mind? I remember you saying something about a PS3. In that case, my first recommendation is Uncharted 1, 2, & 3. This series was the whole reason for me buying a PS3. It's pretty much the Indiana Jones of video games. The graphics, voice acting, and story line will get you addicted.

    Trailer 😀

Ditto to Pinterest projects! I pin stuff constantly (especially when I should be studying) but have yet to actually make any of them.

I'm also looking forward to reading non-CPA related books! I've got a list a mille long of books I wanna read, and don't even know where to start!
