Hi,
I’m interested in breaking into the accounting industry, but I feel like unless you have a recruiter (which is hard to get unless you know someone or went to a decent business school where they recruit straight from campus. The chances of getting into the audit field is almost slim. I really want to go into audit, but all around me it seems the only positions available are either low level college intern bookeeping (~$8/hr) or tax prep (advertisements anyone can become a prepare during the season) for around $12/hr and even their advertisement makes it sound like a temp job. Is there anyway to break into more of a professional after college type of role?
