    Hey guys,

So…. I am going crazy waiting for the scores to be released. I took my first ever exam (AUD) on November 13, 2015, the last possible day on that testing window. I have only been waiting for 10 days, but still, they have been the longest 10 days of my life. I am very anxious and nervous. My family is about to lock me in a room since they cannot deal with me either.

I know I can’t be the only one in this situation. Can somebody give me any advises on how to deal with this anxiety and the horrible anticipation process. I can’t take another waiting period like this one when I take the next exam.

    Thanks.

You don't really have a choice, although I concur that the wait is ridiculous – especially considering the scores are most likely already uploaded, and the countdown clock is just asinine – it is what it is. Just find something to keep yourself entertained until then, i.e. study for your next part.

My REG score is coming out tomorrow and it is driving me crazy! And it doesn't help that I am also dealing with stress from FAR, which I am taking Saturday. It's only one more day, I better get at least a 75!

Seriously STOP stressing so much! What is all this worrying and stressing out going to do? Make the score post sooner? No. Change your score? No. It does nothing but cause total unnecessary worry, it won't change the outcome. You did the best you could on test day, stressing and annoying your family is not going to change a single thing. Like the person above said you don't have a choice, but to wait just accept it. Chill out and go get a Chipotle burrito to make yourself feel better… that's what I did. I am awaiting my second FAR score… I'm not driving myself crazy with worry. I'm nervous but I realize letting it consume my day won't change a single thing.

Not to mention I've been waiting since 10/26!

    AUD - 72, 81
    FAR - 71, 78
    REG - 60, 78
    BEC - 60, 71, 71

IF I FALL, I WILL GET BACK UP. IF I AM BEATEN, I WILL RETURN.

@Kyle chances are you will. Prometric typically submits them that day.. and Auditing is pretty automated.

If it makes you feel any better I took FAR on the utmost last day, in the afternoon, and I still got my score in the first release.

I'm waiting in REG (my 2nd exam – took it on the 14th) and it has crossed my mind, but I think people need to stop stressing. It's not going to help anything. I think anxiety in general is one of the reasons why so many people have issues with the exams. Yes, they are hard but people make them a bigger deal than they are. I talk to coworkers who are taking the exams as I am and they almost start sweating just when the subject comes up. I'm sure just about all of us are already working in accounting to begin with. It's pretty hard for an idiot to do well in this profession. I'm not saying the exams aren't important because they are, but I think people would be able to focus and perform better if they weren't so anxious about them. Just my 2 cents..good luck everyone!

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16
