My fingers and hand are hurting from note taking.

For those that take notes, what are you favorite pens that are comfortable for long periods of writing?

Galaxy Note 5. I can write notes on my phone and it puts them into Word for me. I can read what I wrote 99% of the time!

<Edit> Being able to short-hand on it and just slide the light stylus on the screens make it easy on the hand after a long day of walkthroughs.

This is weird- but I use a No. 2 pencil, and I have an old fashioned pencil sharpener at my desk- the kind that used to be mounted on the wall beside the chalkboard when I was a kid. I love the way a pencil writes when sharp, and the break to sharpen the pencil rests my hand. I can’t wait to have a note and book -burning bonfire when I finish these exams. 😀

i use a green pentel padded .5 lead pencil with a great eraser and clean white printer paper for notes. used almost an entire ream for BEC. i love that pencil. i have had it for 3 years. my hand rarely gets tired. erasers last a long time too and work very well.

I am a stickler for pens and I know that my hand hurts like hell after a marathon session. I like the TUL fine point pens. The ink flow is smooth so you don't have to press down too hard to get the ink going (a major cause of pain for me). Bit pricey (6 bucks for 4) but I love these pens. Don't use anything else!

I don't have a preference for pens beyond 1) that they are full, once I start even thinking that they are losing ink I replace it and 2) they are a gel type pen. I get a lot of mine from the dollar store. I find that those 2 things help make writing easier because you don't have to write too hard.

The paper is nearly as important as the pen. I write all my notes in Moleskine Cahier journals using a lightweight fountain pen with a medium nib.

My favorites are the uni ball vision elite and Wexford retractable medium point ink pen. If you have Costco near your place then you can get them cheaper there 🙂

Uniball rollerball vision. Many pens' lives were lost in the great cpa battle. Numerous pens and 3 fivestar-5 subject notebooks met their tragic end by the time the war ended.
