Unclear formatting in Task based simulations

I am currently using the Wiley test bank to prepare for the REG exam in less than 2 weeks time

I have noticed that there is often ambiguity in the task based simulations, as to how an answer should be formatted

    For example:

When I enter -22000, it is marked incorrect as it is not in the format (22000)

When I enter (10000), it is marked incorrect as it is not in the format -10000

When I enter 4/15/2017. it is marked incorrect as it is not in the format April 15, 2017

When I enter “US Tax court”, it is marked incorrect as it does not match the answer “Tax court”

Has anyone encountered this problem on the actual exam?

Were you able to get any guidance from the examination centre staff regarding such issues?

    Thanks

In my most recent experience the actual exam will not let you type in parentheses. You will have to use the minus symbol to enter in negative numbers. Dates will most likely be a drop down menu or they will tell you the format

    Done: 5/22/14
