Salutations all- has anyone in A71 land or knows of someone who transitioned from being an accountant or auditor to wealth advisor/financial planner and pursued the CPF licensure?

I have been doing my research and I have concluded to work for a RIA independent firm which is fee-based, would be the ideal way to go rather than a wirehouse. I am not too fond on the commission-based compensation.

Kindly opine on this subject matter.
