I took AUD for the second time today and feel really bad. Especially that I have to wait till December to see the fail 🙁

MCQs weren’t too bad, some curve balls here and there but overall doable.

First testlet of sims had one research and one audit procedure (which took me about 40mins) and I still wasn’t able to complete half of it.

Second testlet included one FAR sim which was good and I am 80% sure of it, another research which I was 100% sure of and a dea which I was sure of 50% of the response.

Now the 3rd testlet was from the pit of hell! One sim I was 80% sure of, ran out of time for one and had to guess on most of it and the other sim I was 30% sure of.

In summary, I’m sure I aced both research questions, the FAR like sim and one other sim making a total of 4 out of 8, the other four were mainly guesses.

What are my chances of a 75! This is the only exam giving me problems!

@queencpa what do u mean with FAR sim?? I'm planing to take AUD before FAR and that's scary since I have no idea about FAR topics!

If it makes you feel better, on my REG test, out of the 8 SIMS, I knew I nailed research and was reasonably assured on 3 others. 2 of them were a total shitshow…. I passed with 77….There is hope!

what about the other 2 SIMS. how did you do on those ?

@shawn in VA-not sure, I know 2 or 3 I felt like I might have gotten enough points to score well, research I nailed, and the last SIM I wasn't sure on, but there were two I had no idea on whatsoever…. So out of 8, I was ok with half of them, including research….It's such a blur at this point!

I took AUD today and completely agree…Similar to you, I had 2 questions on each of the first two sims (one of each was research). Got to the third SIM testlet and was shocked to see 3 full-on SIMs with multiple columns and rows and lots of supporting documentation to review. I submitted my test with 3 minutes to spare and I was sweating bullets on that last testlet thinking that I wasn't going to have enough time to complete it.

We'll see the outcome in December…I'm telling myself that if I have to retake next year, at least I enjoy the subject matter. I'd much rather retake AUD than BEC…I suck at finance/economics/investing activities.

@queen would you say that buying gleim test bank for audit is worth it? I have gone through becker twice and feel like I need more review on the sims but I dont wanna spend 250 if its not really worth it..

@quenncpa I just bought surgent cpa do you think it did a decent job preparing you for the exam?
