Just curious to see. Maybe certain months are just harder to pass. My theory would be that its easier to pass during January/February and April/May because its busy season, so if you put the time in you should be able to do better than the people that are working hard and think they can get an exam in.

I thought I had passed AUD and my score came out abysmal. I started my CPA voyage with FAR first, thinking that at least I’ll get the hardest one out of the way and get a feel for the exams. I studied for 2 months with Becker trying to grasp everything that FAR would test. Unfortunately all of that preparing did not prepare me for the test. I knew I had failed as soon as I finished. I was upset since all of that time studying you’d think it would have been at least passable. But I trudged on and studied for AUD next. Studied for 6 weeks and at the end of it was scoring 80’s on all of my practice tests…Awesome I thought. I walked out of the test knowing I passed. The testlets were progressively harder and I didn’t flag many of the questions (3rd testlet was iffy, but still okay) and felt okay on the SIMS except 1. Needless to say I felt at least I got one test done. After receiving a test score of 67 which was worse than FAR, I was extremely disappointed in myself (or AICPA or Becker!). I feel as if that can’t be my real score since I did soo good on all of my practice tests…Extremely irritated and upset. I suppose I will have to rethink my study regime. Ugh! Trudging on…

    FAR - 70, 80!!!!!
    AUD - 67, 90!!!!
    REG - 88!!!
BEC - 77!!!! DONE DONE DONE DONE!!

I got my Reg score on Saturday and I too was shocked that I failed. I got 66…the 1st time I took Reg I got 68 and I didn't feel like I went in knowing as much as I did this time around. My performance assessment confirms what I already know…that tax is my weak area…Im going to attempt again in October…I don't know what I can do differently…I listen to the audio, rewrite notes, practiced thousands of mcq's…im trying not to get discouraged but as I write this im thinking how can I overcome this

I also need to start working on FAR…need to finish by mar next year or I will have to retake bec!

Been there, done that……in the same boat, trying to figure it out, what went wrong, do I have the strength to try this again. What a night mare….I cant imagine how those that got between 70-74 are keeping it together.

One idea is to join us in power weekend. Lot's of encouragement on power weekend.

oops, didn't mean to hiya myself. (lol). see what I mean…..it's getting crazy.

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

Walked out of Q1 2014 FAR exam feeling very confident that I passed comfortable and got a 62. Let me tell you that it was maddening. That's scary to think that you passed comfortable and did not come close. This was my first exam. It seems strange to me that college educated people, many with Masters degrees, that have taken accounting test for the better part of their adult life cannot gauge the results of a test. In college you can pretty much tell with a high degree of certainty what grade you got on a particular test based on how you felt after the exam. This goes both ways, some people think they bombed certain sections but pass. I am not a conspiracy theorist but am I the only one that finds this strange?

Audit Q2 2013 thought I would pass and the exam was like blessing but ended up with 72.

Wanted to pass befor changes in audit but I guess like many others, I could not pass.

I think lot of people could not pass Audit around that time coz even the pass percentage was low as released by AICPA

FAR- 79 -->Becker self study, Final review & Flashcards
REG -72-->Becker ,76-->Becker plus Wiley test bank
    AUD- 73 Becker,72-->Becker+Wiley,69-->Added ninja notes,89 --> Added Gleim review
BEC- 84 Becker plus Wiley Test bank

    I am Done !!!!
