Anyone else have those days where they just keep getting things wrong even though they know the material? Reviewing for my BEC test in a week and just super frustrated that things aren’t clicking like they normally do. Definitely eats away at your confidence that you’ve been building up

Know the feeling well. We all have those days. It's a grind going at this stuff every day for weeks and months at a time. Last night I was trying to hit my question goal for the day and it was really late and I had been studying for hours. I was just trying to go through question sets as fast as I could and I ended up missing and overlooking a lot and bringing down my average for the day. But I know it was bc it was 2 am and I was tired. You don't have to be perfect every day! And based on your previous scores, it looks like you'll be more than fine come exam day! FAR has been my nightmare in this whole process and the only one I didn't pass on the first try. It looks like you more than handled the beast! That should give you confidence in itself.

This happens to me as well. I think its just the nature of this whole process in general – there will be good days and there will be bad days. If I'm working problems and continually making stupid mistakes and getting super frustrated, I know it's time to take a break / step away from the material.

Appreciate it guys. Been going at this for 4 months straight with not many breaks and also working so sometimes it just really sucks the life out of you. Needed the extra positive encouragement today

@GeauxAwayCPA you got FAR! I remember just how daunting it was so I tried to just take it one chapter at a time to not get overwhelmed.

Yeah same here. Been studying relatively non stop for months now since I had to retake FAR. This whole ride is like a dang roller coaster so like @Operation_CPA said, there will be good and bad days and more specifically good moments and bad moments. One second I'm fine and positive and the next you would think I was a crazy person lol.

Thanks for the encouragement on FAR @lblacker I still have about 10-11 days before the exam. Hoping to have gotten all NINJA MCQ correct and be 100% reviewing come Tuesday. I'm beyond ready to be DONE!! I'm sure you remember but FAR is just so much information to keep together and there seem to be so many exceptions. Government and other small details/tricks in questions are killing me at the moment but I still have some time! Good luck to you on BEC – I am sure you will do great!
