In the process of coming to gripes with my first fail (AUD 74), I started thinking about my test more. It just seems like the questions that probably did me in were ones that presented obscure scenarios that I pretty much had to make educated guesses on.
I’m mostly referring to the sims (which I was “weaker” in… I was “stronger” in almost everything else) I even had 2 on the same concept which I understood very well, but could not apply to the very obscure and specific scenarios presented on the exam. Spent plenty of time searching the AL (used search within, advanced search, and such) but didn’t help. Pretty much just had to make educated guesses, which must not have been as good as my educated guesses for my FAR sims (because I felt even iffier with those probably, but ended up scoring “stronger” on those sims anyway).
Anyone feel the same sort of frustration?
Just expressing a bit of frustration after getting my first fail. I just feel like any additional studying I did wouldn’t have helped me with some of the stuff I was asked on the exam, but still, coming so close, maybe I really was just 1 or 2 MCQ’s I got wrong on a subject I really should’ve known better away.
Obviously I gotta improve and I’m gonna take my retake very seriously, probably will consider getting the Ninja MCQ as well (I’ve only used Becker self-study) and treat it as if it’s an uphill climb for 75-99 points, not 1 additional point (pains me to say that, but such is the realization). I know I can do this, hoping this is just a fluke and my future performances will be more like my FAR performance and less like this one.
FAR-82 (7/27/15)
AUD-74 (8/31/15), 92 (1/4/16)
REG-65 (10/28/15), 70 (6/9/16), 80 (7/18/16)
BEC-86 (11/28/15)DONE
...and that's all the people need to know.
