So I am waiting on my final exam score (Mar 8) and trying to catch up on some movies. Thoughts on The Accountant? I thought it was pretty decent. Definitely some accounting stereotypes though, ha.

Am I only person who during the watching of the movie wondered what his CPA exam score's were?

Or try to find the hidden easter egg of what CPA Review course he used?

Hypothetical deleted scene: Wolff in a dimly lit room with father and brother screaming about intangible amortization rules and beating his shins with a wooden stick. Now that nightly ritual is the only way he can remember how to CPA.

    B - 88 (2/16)
    A - 84 (4/16)
    R - 73 (6/16), 82(7/16)
    F - 67 (1/16), 84(4/16)

    Ethics - 93

Was ben an actual CPA or just a rogue accountant. I figure it would be hard to become licensed after escaping from prison…

I saw “The Accountant” in the theatre and again on an airplane home from Colorado. I loved it both times. I in no way anticipated stereotypes of the typical accountant to be portrayed. I knew it would be an action/drama and not just “the life of an accountant,” if you will. I thought there was great acting, an interesting, original story line and great direction. I can't say it ended the way I had imagined it would, but the entertainment factor was still high. I recommend the watch for sure.
