I was just complaining that there are NO movies about accountants. (The one exception I can think of is the one with Will Ferrell—who was an IRS auditor, so that kind of counts, called Stranger Than Fiction, which was awesome, by the way). Let’s see loads of intrigue and debits to cash!

Warner Bros. has set a Jan. 29 release date for Ben Affleck’s thriller “The Accountant,” which will be his first film since “Gone Girl.”

Affleck plays a brilliant accountant who moonlights as an assassin. The film is directed by Gavin O’Connor from Bill Dubuque’s script and co-stars Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal and Cynthia Addai-Robinson. Producers are Lynette Howell and Mark Williams.
