Tax return question

I am preparing my own taxes and I may qualify for the retirement savings contribution credit. (Basically I didn’t make much in 2014 but I contributed to a 401k) The instructions for this credit says that I cannot take the credit if I was a student and it defines a student as such:

You were a student if during any part of 5 calendar months of 2014 you were enrolled as a full time student at a school.

I graduated this past May 2014 so I went to school from about mid January to May (about 4 1/2 months). Should I try to take this credit?BTW it will make my refund $41 more if that matters.

“Any part of five calendar months”

You were a student during parts of Jan Feb Mar Apr and May. My intetpretation of that rule tells me that you don't qualify.
