i recently failed audit and want to take audit and bec in the upcoming window, does anyone have any tips or suggestions how to manage studying for two exams in one window with a full time job?

I want to take audit as soon as I can in July but I need to find a date on a Saturday to take it which I can’t reapply to take it until tomorrow I believe so I won’t know how much time I have for that.

This is exactly what I did. I took 2 exam in each testing window. I started in April/May of 2014 and passed REG and BEC. Then went for AUD in July/August of 2014 and failed that. I took a pretty long break as Sept through Dec is busy season at my job. Then picked back up with FAR/AUD in April/May and passed them.

My recommendations would be:

1) Take the exam in this order FAR, AUD, REG, BEC. Or at a minimum take AUD after FAR. FAR has ALOT of information that helps with audit.

2) Take a long and a short one in the same window. For instance take REG the first week of a window, and take BEC the last week of a window. That way it gives you almost 2 months to study for the 2nd exam in that window.

3) Take the exam on a Friday, and take Monday – Thursday off from work (if you can) and just use the full week to study for that second exam

This is what I did and was able to pass and a little background on me. I am 12 years out of college, working full time, have 2 kids and haven't looked at a journal entry since my Junior Year in college. Currently working in the IT field.

04cobra, what would you suggest for me? I took FAR as my first test 5/11 and passed. I'm taking AUD July 13th and was thinking about trying to squeeze in BEC at the end of August, but I have no idea if I'll pass AUD!

It's doable but a gamble. I took FAR and REG this past quarter. Pulled off a REG pass, but I got a 74 on FAR. I work FT with a toddler, and study at lunch and after work every day, and for good chunks of time on the weekend. Turns out I needed just a few more weeks on FAR to nail it. For AUD and BEC, there is less material so as long as you're immersing yourself and actively snuffing out your weak areas, you can do it.
