Starting first FT accounting job out of college. Advice?

Hi all! I am starting work in a few days at a large regional firm in my area. I have training coming up and I was hoping for some advice on what to do/expect as a first year associate. I am beyond nervous because out of the 10 new hires for our office, the vast majority were previously interns there or they all know each other from college. I however didn’t intern at the firm and didn’t attend the same college as most of my peers so I’m afraid I’ll be the outsider going into our out of state training. I’ll be working as an audit associate and have gone through 3 busy seasons during college so I have experience but thinking of the learning curve ahead makes me nervous. Any tips on getting to know my new co-workers too? Thanks!

Just a few pointers: Don't be shy … accept constructive criticism … LISTEN. Be eager to take on more responsibility, but not more than you can handle. Think of everyone as your peers. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Be happy that you are employed 🙂

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.
