Spouse Tolerance - Page 3

    Anyone have any ideas of how to get my spouse to be more tolerant with my spending so many hours studying? I am busy half the night studying while she has to be busy with bedtime etc. Sometimes she can get annoyed.

    And if you aren't already doing this, work even harder in bed, and make dinner more often. You'll not see a more understanding spouse if you do. May the force be with you

    Hmm. I can see how this could be difficult in a new relationship, maybe. For me, my husband was very understanding and we approached the whole thing like a team. My study plan involved studying all day on Saturday & Sunday every week, but I had time every weekday after work to spend at least a little time with my 6-year old son and husband. I made sure to always be the one to put my son to bed and read with him. It's possible. It sucks, but it's possible!
