Hi everyone! I took FAR on the 28th and lets just say I didn’t have the best experience. I felt decent about the MCQs but I struggled with time management and ended up leaving 2 SIMS blank. (I know, I know, that’s one of the deadly sins of this exam.) I studied for almost 3 months and 300+ hours for this first test. I don’t have as much experience or an accounting degree and I felt behind in that regard so that is why I studied so much more than what is suggested. After the test, I cried in my car all the way to the liquor store. I’m pretty sure the cashier was seriously thinking about not selling that bottle of Jack to me. I went home, had a drink, finally cleaned my house and passed out. It took me a few days to recoup from that exam as I’m sure most people know that feeling. I read about people passing that were in the same boat but I’m not holding my breath. I’ve taken 10 days off of studying to spend time with my son and to catch up at work. Now I’m trying to start studying for AUD while I wait for the score release on the 24th. It’s so hard to focus though knowing there is a very good chance that I didn’t pass FAR. If I didn’t pass, my plan is to stop studying AUD and go back to FAR. Any advice on how to stay positive and determined when you know failure is on the horizon??
FAR-85 (1/28/15)
AUD-91 (4/3/15)
BEC-82 (5/21/15)
REG-90 (7/31/15)I am done!!!!
