Tomorrow is my first test and I want to make sure I dress properly…

I don’t want to be like that guy who wears jeans to a wedding…

You don't have to. But it would be awesome if you did. Or better yet, go super formal and in a tux. I'd love to see that.

Dude, no. I wear my most comfortable, pocket less pants and about three layers (cold) of my most comfortable sweatshirts and tees. Not anyone there is going to give a care about how you look. You must remember that their days are spent with erratic, worn out, smelly (because really, who has time to shower) CPA candidates.

They would probably make you take off your tie, and maybe your coat. No point in wearing a suit other than to try and intimidate the computer.

I wore the same thing to every exam. Flip flops, cargo shorts, and my green “Keep Calm Chive On” shirt. We each have our “thing”- charm, routine, whatever. That's mine.

Wear whatever you think is comfortable unless you think dressing up will help you focus. I usually just wore a dress shirt and jeans.
