Should I slow down?

I passed my last section Wednesday. I did my ethics class, got my fingerprints/background check, filled out my application and got all necessary signatures.

Should I hold off on mailing everything assuming the background check results will take at least a week? I don’t want them to get my application but then deny it because they don’t have my background check information.

Now what the hell do I do?

Call them to be sure but I can't imagine they get to the point everything else looks ok, no background check yet and they don't at least wait a few days. (and lets be honest, if they have your background check back by the 18th its doubtful they got through everything else already.) They know very well how long it takes and if I am not mistaken they can confirm it is in process.

    Congratulations!

Not sure about all states, but I know mine holds applications for one year. If they're not complete by the end of the year, they're disregarded and you have to start over. I'd assume most states are similar? Maybe? Either way, I'm with mla – I think you're fine. And congrats! 🙂
