    Hi guys

I’m currently using becker and i’m not sure whether I should change.

    I take 2 exam and didn’t pass BES 48 and AUD 44.

I don’t know what I should do, should i change my cpa course or what i should do.

No offense, but it doesn't seem that you're fully committed.

Again, I mean no offense. But Becker is a solid program (though I didn't use it).

You need to go to the bathroom and look at yourself in the mirror for about 5 minutes. Then…answer your own question.

I agree with @alloverit. How much time are you actually putting in? Are you just studying 2 hours per day to do it or are you fully paying attention? Although it took me 3.5 years to get my CPA, I have always used Becker. In the end I realized what helped me was creating a plan and actually sticking to it. I managed to do 2 chapters per week and dedicated 10 full hours on the weekends (5 hours each day). I work full time and have a family.

I have also supplemented with Ninja as I felt I was getting to the point I knew the answer just because I worked that problem so many times, not because I actually understood it.

    Best of luck!

Not to pile on, but a score in the 40s shows a serious, catastrophic lack of understanding of the material. So before you spend the money on different review courses, you must analyze the work you're putting in against the recommend averages of others who have passed. A quick google search will show the AICPA recommended hours of study time per section. Good luck!

Agree with above. Time to get after it and put in some more time.

There is nothing wrong with Becker. Used it as my primary study course for all 4 sections, with Ninja as a supplement. Such low scores suggest you just didn't put in enough time and effort. Follow the review course program, and you should succeed. The CPA prep owns your life and rules your schedule, if it doesn't, then you aren't studying enough.

Ouch! You all don't sugar coat at all, do you? To answer your question, if you think Becker just doesn't do it for you and you can't concentrate, then try Roger CPA for free for two days he gives you access. Becker, to me, is boring as heck because the guy is just reading the book to you. I hated it too. But I have Roger as my main and supplement with Ninja and Gleim test bank. Roger is the only one who keeps my attention and I might not have done as well if I only used Becker.

Im going to have to agree, I used Wiley CPAexcel and I took AUD twice, and BEC once, and kept scoring between 66-69. I switched to Becker, and I have passed BEC 79, AUD 85, and REG 82. I personally think Becker is amazing, and If you watch the videos, do the sims, and then the MCQ for every module and you should be easily scoring between 75-85 with no trouble. I tried roger CPA and the guy was so hyper, and all over the place I could not follow his notes, and all his arrows, and drawings.

Maybe it doesn’t jive with your learning style. Your scores suggest that you aren’t grasping the materials you’re reviewing, or that maybe you’re not putting forth the effort necessary. I’ll give you the benefit and guess you put in the time and just aren’t grasping the material. If that is the case, then the materials might not work for you. I started with Wiley and wasn’t able to pass. I switched to Ninja and passed them all in just over 6 months.

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

Wiley CPAexcel and NINJA 10 Point Combo
