This might sound like a stupid question, but I’d like to apply for a license in two states at the same time, haven’t been licensed in either yet. If I transfer my scores, do they still exist in my original jurisdiction?

It's better to get licensed in one and then apply for licensure in the other. I suspect you live near the boarder of neighboring states.

CPA scores are like those guaranteed-college courses. Once you're done, you're done everywhere.

Applying for an “initial license” in multiple states might cause consternation with a particular state board or it might not matter. You're probably not going to get good advice on this situation here because it's state-specific law. You need to contact your state board(s) on that.

What's the rush to be multi-licensed? Licenses are almost entirely reciprocal. Unless you've got your own practice and you're signing off on audits (or do business/live in Texas), I don't quite understand the rush.
