Has anyone ever gotten the same question on different testlets? I assume this is pretty common because it has happened to me on my previous exams as well. But does anyone know what this means? Are they pretest? Are they just trying to throw you off?

I took REG this past week and I got 2 sets of the same question twice. The first time, it was an obscure topic that was covered in a tiny paragraph in Becker. I coudn’t decide between B and C so the first time I got the question i chose B and the second time it showed up I got C. The question was the same but the answers were worded a tad bit different, but same concept. So I chose different answers on them to make sure I get at least one of them right lol.

The second time I got a question that was worded the same as testlet 2 and 3. It was a one-liner but I got it wrong both times because I confused it with another topic 🙁

Does anyone know why they do this?

    AUD: 84
    FAR: 75
    BEC: 78
    REG: 75

    DONE-ZO!!!!!!!!

REG: Used Becker 2014 book, NINJA MCQ, Ninja notes, ninja audio

I got the same question in different testlets on REG this time & I remember that happening on all my tests when I took them back in 2007-2008 as well. I try not to let it make me second guess myself, but it usually does. From what I've read, only the difficulty level is intentional & determined by performance on a previous testlet, not the material (although when it happens on a subject I'm unsure of, I think it's a conspiracy!). 🙂
