2 bedroom apt (1200ish square ft) paying 100% rent with water in maryland

Gross.. approximately 24%

Net (deduction, retirement, taxes).. approximately 45%

Not including reimbursement, just base.

With 100% rent and money sending to family.. I can bare stay alive (and debts to pay not caused by me. I really do not have any own) I may be the poorest person out here 🙁

Poor me. Made me little sad.

20% of my gross wages covers rent. 26% goes towards taxes. Based off of my spending habits from the last 6 months, I'll save roughly 12% of my gross wages. Will increase amount once I pay off my student loans. Not too bad since I live in SoCal

Im at about 17% of my gross wages spent on rent (1 bedroom apt). I live in Philadelphia, so depending on where I live next year it could be 15-25%
