You can always hit HOME on the keyboard, if you are not actively in the text response box.
Probably above the post box would make more sense if someone doesn't want to add anything to the conversation.

pardon, my response assumes everyone browses the site on a PC with keyboard. Forgot that most of the people here are probably on a mobile device. Millenials and all.
