I have my exam scheduled for Monday at 830AM. I was thinking about rescheduling because I just don’t feel ready! But it says if you reschedule within less than 24hrs you can loose all your fees.

Does anyone know if I will be ok if I do it today?

The system won't let you change it if it's beyond 24 hours before your appointment. However, if your test is on Monday, you can still change it NOW for $55 something change fee.

I knew it because I am a Master CPA. Haha. C-P-A as in Change Prometric Appointment all the time. I keep backing up (chicken out) at the last minute.

From my recent experience, I had an original appointment for 10:30AM on February 1, 2016. Then a family member had some emergency medical issues at home at 9PM of January 31, Monday. I called our neighbor for help. She came in rescue. She gauged we needed paramedics, so she insisted calling 911. I had double worries–for the family member and my CPA test in almost 12 hours from that moment. My neighbor suggested to me to reschedule my test. I answered it's late for now. It's either I show up or forfeit it. However, I got curious that night so I checked Prometric site before heading out to catch the ambulance at the emergency room. I was so surprised that rescheduling was still open. I picked out Feb 4 right away. I was overly grateful that I was able to reschedule it that night. We came back home from the emergency room around 4AM in the morning. There's no way I would be able to be in 100% good shape to test if I only had almost 5 hours of sleep with all those stress and exhaustion.

I scheduled BEC for April 4. I should take it this window too. But testing on 2/29 is just too soon for me to go ahead and test just for the sake of testing. I need an extra time. However, if Q1 will be extended till March 11, I will immediately reschedule and grab the last day of testing in the upcoming block month. Rescheduling will be free of charge because it's more than 30 days to change my original appointment. Prometric hates for me knowing this thing. Haha.

Based on the trend from the recent Q4 of 2015, the extension dates opened up only and EXACTLY on December 1st. The following day (Dec 2), all dates were closed.
