    i just bought and it has its pros and cons.

    pro: my mortgage is lower than my rent, and it's my OWNNN to do with what i please. it's also way bigger than the place i was renting. it is a;sp nicer than the place i was renting. in addition i hope to buy another house in another 7-10 years and would like to keep this one and rent it out as a second source of income.

    cons: gotta pay for maintenance, repairs, take care of lawn.

    overall, buy > rent as i think @monikernc is alluding to. i totes agree.
