This was really unexpected because I thought I had until end of April to sit for my REG but just found out I have to take it in 36 hours because it will expire. Even if it was at the end of April I was very unprepared anyways. I have not even looked at several of the sections such as partnerships, gift, estate, etc …. I am taking it because I already paid for it six months back so no choice

QUESTION … if u had 36 hours to prepare for REG and haven’t even looked at the whole thing … what would be your suggested strategy.

PS passed FAR with 86 few months back.

    Thank you

Don't forgot Bankruptcy, Like Kind Exchanges and Trusts/Estates; and SIMS.

If you can, spend as much of the next 30+ hours as you can in Ninja REG MCQ; on all NEW topics.

You can learn a lot about many different areas that way. There is no way you'll get through all 1800+ questions, but it'll help.

    F - 47, 78! 🙂
After 3 long years, I'm finally DONE!
I could not have done it without NINJA MCQs.

    Breakdown of the test:

Ethics and Legal responsibility – 15-19%

    Business Law: 17-21%

    Federal tax procedures: 11-15%

    Property transactions: 12-16%

    Individual taxation: 13-19%

    Federal taxation of entities: 18-24%

If you're using Becker, I would honestly just do the recently released questions (Go to options and then tools in the browser/software) + questions that were only recently released in the HW. You can see when a question was released by looking at the left. It'll say: Released 2006, Released 2008 etc. These questions also tend to be near the end of the HW. These questions are a better representation of what you will see on the exam vs. questions that were “adapted” or created by Becker.

Concentrate on Individual and federal tax, as both of those sections make up 40% of the MC and a majority of the sims. Keep in mind, you most likely will not see a BLaw sim, but it's not out of the question. Drill as many MC as you can before now and test day. If you're working, I hope you called in sick or took the day off to have any chance of you passing.. Great FAR score, but it won't mean much since there is little to no overlap between FAR and REG.

    Best of luck.
