Hi Guys,

For those of you who are using Becker, my software is still running on Version 1.1. I haven’t updated the Version 1.2 just yet. I did have a question though. If I update to Version 1.2, will I lose all of my previous MCQ and Simulation STATISTICS that I had in 1.1 or will my previous stats from 1.1 carry over to 1.2? I don’t want to lose my stats, so, that’s why I figured I shouldn’t make the update to 1.2 I plan to take the exam end of july or beginning august.

Also, my other question was – does anyone know if Version 1.2 Becker software includes the newly released 2015 questions in this 1.2 Version and does it include explanations? I am still running Version 1.1, and the 2015 released questions have not been updated.

@ Broag, do you recommend I make the switch? Do you know if Version 1.2 has the newly 2015 released questions and does it have more simulations to practice?

It really all depends. Do you want to go through all of Becker's MCQ and SIMs again? I guess it couldn't hurt. Jeff outlined what some of the changes were and they aren't that significant in my mind, so I think you could definitely get away with staying with V 1.1. How many times have you gone through Becker? If you've gone through it 3-5 times, I suggest getting Ninja MCQ just to mix things up. I had a 16 point increase for my one exam just because of Ninja MCQ. Becker material can get pretty stale after a few times through.

As a heads up, you can switch between V 1.1 and 1.2. One thing to take into consideration is the Becker promise. I think you have to complete like 90% of all homework in order to not have to pay again for the material. Switching to V 1.2 may put more of a hamper on you than actually help. Just my opinion, though.

Yep. You can switch back and forth. I don't know if V 1.2 has more MCQ or SIMs to practice or not. When I skimmed through V 1.2 it didn't appear to be much different. I also don't know if it keeps your previous stats or not. I just know that it resets all MCQ and SIMs. Hope this helps.
