Hi Guys,

I really want to pass this exam on the first attempt to take some pressure off. I have until Sept. to pass REG and FAR and I’ve taken FAR twice so I think I have a decent background understanding of the topics. Anyways, I just finished Chapt. 4 in Becker and according to there schedule, I should be finishing Chapt. 8 by Sunday =(. I fell a bit behind due to having to travel for work the past 2 weeks. I have the Ninja Notes and Audio so I do read through them and listen as often as I can when I cannot open up my software. Other than creating the flashcards, how can I best utilize my time in the next 3 weeks to get through the remaining 4 chapters and review….. This will definitely be a jammed packed 3 weeks especially with the holidays coming up. What strategies would you suggest?

Not an answer to your question (sorry!) since I'm in the same position as you. Just finished R4 except I have to finish the remaining chapters in two weeks….

Anyways, I am optimistic it gets slightly easier from here. From what I have seen none of the remaining chapters involve math so MCQ's won't take nearly as long. Also, R5 appears to be straight rote memorization. If you excel in memorization (I fall in that category), it may not be too bad. Hopefully, the second half of REG isn't nearly as bad as the first half.

then keep doing MCQ focusing on the tax part until your exam.

I agree with marqhzo – do not get bogged down in BLAW. You need to make sure you are strongest in Tax, since it makes up the vast majority of the exam. I took REG in November. I fell behind in studying BLAW and decided to focus solely on tax the last week before my exam. Maybe I just got lucky, but that strategy worked – I made an 82. 🙂 Good luck!
