I just registered for my REG exam date and it said duration is 3 and a half hours? I thought they said it was 3 hours. Did they extended it? and if so, would you think there would be an additional simulation or increase the multiple choice questions? or they realized that REG, you need more time to answer questions.

Key to passing the exam is understanding the topic chapter and sections, not just memorizing what you read. The more you practice multiple choice, the greater chance you have to passing the exam.

Mine said that too. No they did not extend it (yet) just includes prep time.

I believe it is still 3 hours. They are probably just taking into account the amount of time it will take to get you set up.

The REG exam won't be extended till 2017 when the CPA exam changes takes effect. REG will then be an extra 1 hour. Although that extra hour includes more SIMs.
