Had REG yesterday, I felt like my first test let went pretty well and that the second testlet was significantly more difficult than the first. Then the third seemed pretty simple again which tells me I didn’t do so hot. As for the sims, I had one research which I’d say I’m about 70% sure I got it right, and the other five I think I did well on 3 of them and pretty sure I bombed one of them…… Has anyone passed REG feeling this way? I didn’t really work very many sims beforehand and I feel like that may be my downfall.

REG was my first pass after 5 attempts, so you can guess my level of confidence…. But ppl feel crappy all the time but then they pass – you have plenty of hope!

Yes. Search the forums. There are stories of many people that felt they did horrible taking REG and passed. It's a very common feeling. Actually, it sounds like you did alright on your exam with what you said. Good luck!

I had the exact same feelings after leaving my exam. One of my SIMS's was a worst case scenario and fingers crossed that it was a pretest. It's rough feeling like you could have gotten anything from a 70 to a 90. Worst part of this exam is to wait until the score is released.

It's the worst exam ever. I have failed 4x and I still don't “get it”…it's too difficult given the structure of the exam.

jrw1990 i walked out of REG feeling destroyed. My 2nd testlet got harder, by the time i got to the 3rd I couldn't tell if it got harder or easier because my brain was so busted by then. And as soon as I saw the Sims i felt any chance i had at passing was thrown out the window. Like you i hadn't practiced simulations that much. I wasn't sure if I got the research question and I felt like i was guessing on some of the sims. Lo and behold I passed on my first shot. It was completely unexpected. So you never really know. It's over now, you did everything you could. don't think about it until you see that score.

    BEC 76 (2/15)
    REG 81 (4/15)
    AUD 78 (5/15)
    FAR 81 (7/15)

You only bombed 1 sim and 70% on the research. 3 or 4 you did good on. I'll say if that's the case, you did well.

I think I was 50% on 3 of the sims, research I think I got right, and maybe 75% on the other 2. MC, I say I scored in the 80%.

What did you do to get your audit score up exactly 7pts? I scored a 68 on AUD also. I just retook it and hoping I get good news on Jun 9th but obviously not feeling good. I used Becker this time around.

    REG - 82, MAY2014
    BEC - 79, JULY2014

Thanks for all this assurance. I just wish AICPA gave us the option of paying like $100 to get your results immediately when you finish because I would definitely take that option.

@Ineedsomesun For audit I don't really remember changing anything with how I studied. I think a big thing for me was that I first took it in October '14 and was currently working in public accounting. I then started a new job as an auditor in January and took the Audit the 2nd time the end of February and I feel like my experience sorta helped tie everything as far as what I was reading in the book.
