As far as hours worked go in the busy season, what is a realistic expectation for hours/week, etc.

Our value does not come from our skills and abilities, as good as they may be; it does not come from our GPA, our job, a promotion from that job to a better job, our success on the CPA exam, or anything of the like; but our value comes from the fact that we have a Creator who loves us, cares for us, and desires to help us navigate the rough waters of this life in a way that provides security, hope, and true, everlasting joy while we anticipate the life to come, with Him.

This past busy season was my first in a large regional firm. I billed on average between 55 and 60 hours a week, which means between 60-65 hours at work. I never wanted to be in the office late so I would get to the office around 6 everyday and leave around 6 or 7. At my firm no one has a problem with what hours you work as long as you get your work done.

I am an Ex big 4, it all depend on the region, type of team, the manager, the company you're auditing. But 60/70 hours should be expected
