I have a week until my audit exam. Does anyone find re-watching the lectures helpful or a waste of time?

    AUD - 81 (8/15)
    BEC - 83 (10/15)
    FAR - 84 (1/16)
    REG - 79 (5/16)

Personally, I think just drilling down the mcqs over and over again would help. The lectures help, but I find that I learn more from the mcqs. Simply memorizing everything in the book and the lecture is not enough. In fact, you could memorize everything in the book and still not pass, because the mcqs are designed to trick you and go more in depth than the actual book itself.

I am also taking AUD next week and will use this time to keep doing mcqs and occasionally refer back to the book for clarification and in case I forget anything. Now if the lectures work for you, by all means watch it again. But for me, I pretty much don't learn mostly from the lectures; I learn more through reading the book and redoing the mcqs. However, this is just my opinion.

Depends what type of learner you are. If you're more of a visual learning, lectures will help. If it's your last week, I really would focus on doing MCQs so you get a feel of how questions will be asked and what topics will show up. For me, I skipped the lectures because I find myself spacing out when I'm suppose to be absorbing the info… yeah it literally went in one ear and out the next. I learned a lot more by doing MCQs, taking notes as I did them. But that's just me, and everyone learns different. I'm sure there are others who find lectures very helpful. Good luck!

@KCCPA13 I actually did the same thing. I skipped the lectures because, like you, I space out about halfway through that I end up just wasting my time.
